Calculating “sugars” in your products – new methods

AOAC (Association of Analytical Chemists) International has worked to develop new methods to determine/report sugars in animal, pet and human food and fructans in animal and pet food. The proposed new methodology is available for comment. Please see the links and provide comments by the dates listed. Once finalized, these methods will become the laboratory standard nationally and internationally thus, possibly, having impact on your products. This is a great opportunity to provide feedback.
