FSMA, Pathogens, Zero Tolerance, Fresh Foods and Food Safety Modernization

Opryland HotelHave questions about any of this?   If so, this workshop — held LIVE in Nashville, but also recorded for those who can’t be in the room — answers regulatory questions for small and very small manufacturers of fresh pet food, retailers, and potential members of NGPFMA.  Our host, Dr. Cathy Alinovi, scheduled this eye-opening workshop immediately after her most recent meeting with the FDA.  So this isn’t just “regurgitated” information you can find elsewhere.  It’s critical information you need now.

The Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) is the most sweeping reform of our food safety laws in more than 70 years. FSMA aims to ensure the U.S. food supply is safe by shifting focus to prevention, rather than reaction to food contamination. Soon all pet food businesses must be in compliance.

This unique collaborative workshop provides an opportunity for industry discussions between manufacturers, retailers, vets, consumers and regulatory voices. This serves attendees with an improved understanding of what to expect under the auspices of the Food Safety Modernization Act, and how to respond should the arms of regulation stretch in your direction.

Additionally, experts who have undergone inspections will present insider tips regarding ongoing failures in the industry, how they affect you and the products you buy or recommend, and your rights/obligations in the changing environment of the pet food industry.

Please join us Friday September 6, 2019 at the Gaylord Opryland, Nashville TN from 1-4pm.
